The Smartsettle team was extremely saddened to hear of the tragic death of John Nash and his wife Alicia. But he won’t be forgotten here. John Nash overcame his struggles with schizophrenia to win one of the most deserved Nobel prizes ever. Even though some people credit John Nash for winning the Nobel Peace Prize (and we too think he deserved that) his award was actually the Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences. Nash’s famous equilibrium has grown to be perhaps the most important idea in economic analysis and has found application in fields as diverse as computing, evolutionary biology and augmented intelligence.
